Entry from: Lisbon, Portugal Entry Title: “A holiday at last” Entry: “Well it has been a long time, I suppose I have been a bit slack, but life over here has started to get well, normal now. I don’t really think much of what we have been doing in London is all that interesting lately. Lets see……. we are both working lots, and both enjoying our jobs (as much as you can), our place in Queens Park is good, much bigger, and share house living has really been OK. That really is all that is new, in respect to London any way. Finally we were able to get some holidays off together, and after some small deliberation (a cold wet winters day when I saw it on TV and told Dave we were going there) we decided on Portugal. This also tied in nicely with La tomatina (will get to that later) so we decided to do a small part of Spain as well. That sorted,we planned a route and off we went……… We arrived in Lisbon for a 4 night stay late on the 11/8. Backpacks on we found the bus to take us into town rather easily. We found the stop we had to get off at rather easily too. But then we saw the hill we had to walk up….. It seems that Lisbon is a city set on 7 hills, so you spend most of your time traipsing up and down these. Although we were hot and a bit puffed we found the hostel OK. It was a nice place, we were …
